Week 8 Challenge

Try This Layout (again!)

The last time we did this, I was really surprised at how easy it was for me to finish a page in what seemed like record-time. Yes, it kind of felt carbon-copy-ish to me - and I almost felt a little guilty for making someone else's creativity my own. BUT - once I chose my own paper & embellishments, I didn't feel so bad. So, let's do it again! I could get used to this pace!

RIBBONS!
There are so many things to do with leftover scraps of ribbon. Wrap them around a picture frame collage-style, make petals out of them for a flower, braid them, print on them, and the list goes on.... See what you can come up with!

Week One Challenge - Before I Was A Mother
(or for those who aren't mommies, "Another Chapter in my Life")

In honor of Mother's Day yesterday, we thought it would be fun to do a project about our lives PRE-Mommy. Wow, seems like an eternity ago, doesn't it? Think about your life in another space and time and reflect on it. How are you a different person now? What permanent changes have you made? Or on a lighter note, how different do you look?

Shrinky Dink Challenge

Here is another challenge we did last week. It was so fun to play with shrinky dinks! Did you know you can stamp them (after sanding), use colored pencils, water-based markers, etc.? WOW - there are so many fun ways to play with Shrinky Dinks - give it a try! Your inner kid will appreciate you. :)

Yay! Welcome to The Weekly JeM - where every week we post a "challenge", or theme for you to interpret to your heart's desire. This is intended to jump-start your creative side, (one of the many hats we wear). Because, we believe it's just as important to take some time each week for what we LOVE to do - whether it be scrapbooking, card-making, or just general crafty stuff!

So, off we go! This is new territory and we're testing it out. We welcome all suggestions, and of course - PHOTOS of your projects! Take our weekly theme idea and run with it.
